Information Strategy

Effective Content Reuse for Professional and Accidental Publishers

1 day Workshop

29th March 9:00 am-4:00 pm

London

Workshop overview

This one-day workshop is aimed at people who are tasked with exploiting their content more fully, either as a public service or as a commercial proposition. The day will provide a detailed insight into developing information architectures for content to be published, and in particular into the analysis of content to identify appropriate ‘units of information', and how to develop metadata and taxonomies to support their structuring, management, ordering, retrieval and display.

The workshop will include examples of information architectures developed for different kinds of organisations from reference publishers to government agencies, and there will be lots of opportunities for participants to discuss their own content issues.
